SMOK Ventures is a venture capital firm that invests in early-stage startups in Central & Eastern Europe (CEE) and diaspora, bridging Silicon Valley to CEE. They aim to be the first and last check founders need from CEE, with 80% of follow-on funding in their startups coming from Western Europe, Silicon Valley, and Asia. They look for serial entrepreneurs with a global vision who aim to build industry leaders. SMOK Ventures is committed to transparency and expects the same from their founders, responding to every quality email from founders and acting quickly on interested deals. Being ex-founders themselves, they understand the importance of a supportive, founder-friendly investor. Their mission is to support early-stage startup founders in building multi-million-dollar global software enterprises from the CEE region. They see the region as being at an inflection point, with local entrepreneurs poised to build the next generation of global billion-dollar startups, and they are excited to enable these entrepreneurs to reach their goals faster. SMOK Ventures believes in the potential of the CEE region and aims to elevate it within the venture capital landscape.
