Mountain Partners operates as a global multi-fund manager, functioning as a holding company for a diverse investment portfolio and a network of VC funds spanning Europe, Latin America, and Asia. Founded in 2005, their House of Funds includes 16 independent VC funds and investment vehicles, with investments in over 170 active portfolio companies. Their strategy focuses on investing in the digital revolution across these regions, targeting high-growth markets. They act as an anchor investor and provide operational support to their partner funds, holding both GP and LP stakes. The firm pioneers investing in GP stakes in VC funds, partnering with promising managers. They help build local VC firms, which are managed independently and raise third-party capital. This approach allows Mountain Partners to diversify its investments and gain access to local expertise in various high-growth markets. Mountain Partners' investment strategy involves identifying and supporting early-stage companies with innovation and technology that boast high expansion and scalability potential. Their House of Funds-strategy has shifted focus away from direct investments, and now focuses on its network of funds. Their portfolio includes companies operating in various digital sectors.
