KFLT Angels

KFLT Angels is a business angel network that connects entrepreneurial-minded investors with founders and teams. Their mission is to identify and support the best teams and ideas. They focus on leveraging the collective experience, networks, and capital of their members to provide value to startups. KFLT emphasizes a collaborative approach to investment decisions and support, aiming to provide access to a group of angels rather than a single investor. The network is composed of serial founders, experienced business angels, and professionals from diverse backgrounds. This diversity is intended to create a deep knowledge pool and an exponentially expanding network for both members and portfolio companies. The network was founded by HHL (Graduate School of Management Leipzig) alumni. KFLT operates on the principle of "Ehrbare Kaufleute" ("Honourable Merchant"), which guides their actions and reflects their value system. They identify potential investments through their network, decide as a group, and support as a team. They offer sparring (feedback), network connections, experience sharing, and capital to startups. Their approach is selective, preferring to be contacted through introductions within their network rather than cold email outreach. This suggests a focus on quality deal flow and leveraging their network's expertise in identifying promising opportunities.
