Freedom Fund

The Freedom Fund is a global fund with the sole aim of helping end modern slavery. They act as a catalyst in the global effort to end modern slavery, working in the countries and sectors where it is highly prevalent. They invest in and partner with organisations and communities on the frontlines of ending slavery and exploitation. By partnering with survivors and those at risk of slavery, visionary investors, governments, and anti-slavery organisations, they bring together the knowledge, capital, and will needed to dismantle the systems that allow slavery to exist and thrive. Through their investments and support, they aim to shift power so that frontline organisations and communities can shape and drive the change required to bring modern slavery to an end. The Freedom Fund strengthens the frontlines by shifting power within the local and global systems that create the conditions for modern slavery to exist. They foster a movement by encouraging collaboration so frontline partners and local communities build their collective power. They build evidence by measuring and sharing evidence of what works to drive greater levels of investment into ending modern slavery. The Freedom Fund raises capital to direct funding and resources into slavery hotspots around the world. They partner with frontline organisations and communities in slavery hotspots – places across the world where slavery is highly prevalent. In each hotspot, they convene a network of grassroots organisations to work collaboratively toward shared objectives, multiplying their resources, impact and influence. They also invest in individuals, organisations and initiatives to grow and uplift survivor leadership in anti-slavery movements.
