Business Angels Co-Investment Fund

ILTE (National Development Bank) aims to promote sustainable economic development, enhance economic resilience, and improve access to financing for businesses, the public sector, and agriculture/fisheries clients. They also aim to attract private capital to support domestic businesses. ILTE's activities focus on high-value-added projects that foster national economic growth, encourage innovation, promote sustainability, enhance energy efficiency, transform agriculture, and strengthen competitiveness. The organization actively participates in infrastructure development and modernization projects. ILTE operates directly, through group companies, and in collaboration with other financial market participants. It provides services like venture capital, loans, and guarantees. It acts as a partner to the state in achieving strategic goals and to clients in implementing their operational plans, and as a catalyst for developing new ideas. The Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Lithuania is the founder and shareholder of ILTE. One of ILTE's core activities includes managing the Business Angels Co-Investment Fund. This fund co-invests with business angels to support startups and early-stage companies. ILTE also focuses on supporting sustainable investments that contribute to mitigating direct climate change impacts, exemplified by their investment in the limited partnership “Tvariųjų išteklių plėtros skatinimas” (Sustainable Resources Development Promotion) alongside the European Energy Efficiency Fund. ILTE's overall strategic orientation involves maintaining financial stability and increasing access to business financing. Financial stability is pursued through careful investment and risk management. Increased access to financing is achieved through close collaboration with Lithuanian institutions.
