Venture to Future Fund (VFF) is a Slovak-based venture capital fund that invests in innovative Slovak companies with the potential to become leaders in their respective segments and expand to global markets. They focus on providing growth-stage funding to elevate businesses to industry leaders. Their approach is founder-friendly, emphasizing a win-win strategy on the path to success. VFF prioritizes visionary founders and teams driving innovation across various sectors, focusing not only on the uniqueness of the idea but also on its scalability and potential for significant global impact. They target small and medium-sized businesses in the growth stage, from late-stage Seed rounds to Series A and B, with functional, market-tested products that already have paying customers or negotiated contractual relationships. VFF typically invests alongside an independent and private co-investor, adhering to the pari-passu principle, which ensures equal conditions regarding investment amount (50:50) and a substantially equal position in sharing benefits and risks. This collaborative approach allows portfolio companies to leverage VFF's investor network in future investment rounds. Their primary geographic focus is on Slovak and EU-based ventures with capital links to Slovakia, aiming to empower growth and innovation within the region. Between 2020 and 2026, VFF has allocated €55 million to discover and finance ambitious projects. The fund's lifespan is set at 10 years, during which they aim to guide companies to a successful exit.
