Orca Capital

Orca Capital AG focuses on securities trading, leveraging market anomalies and special situations in international trading venues. Their core philosophy, as evidenced by the quotes from Andre Kostolany, centers on the idea that success in the stock market requires artistry and understanding rather than purely scientific analysis. The firm values a 'can-do' attitude and boasts a team with over 90 years of combined stock market experience. The firm's approach appears to prioritize active trading strategies and opportunistic investments, rather than long-term investments in companies. This is suggested by their stated focus on exploiting specific situations in international markets. The leadership team consists of Roman Grodon, Wolfgang Burkhardt, Thomas König, and Christoph Dichtl, each bringing their expertise to the table. Orca Capital also places importance on creating a positive work environment with flat hierarchies and short decision-making processes. This is intended to foster creativity and enable rapid responses to market changes. The firm is actively seeking motivated employees to join their team, emphasizing their dynamic and youthful team culture. Overall, Orca Capital positions itself as a nimble, experienced, and opportunity-driven securities trading firm.
