Hikma Ventures, the strategic venture capital arm of Hikma Pharmaceuticals, was established in 2015 to broaden Hikma’s offerings and tap into opportunities in the growing digital health and life sciences space. They invest in innovative digital health and life sciences companies worldwide, seeking disruptive technologies and meaningful companies with diverse leadership that can make a real difference in the world and for Hikma. The fund acts as an instrument of strategic growth in broadening Hikma's offering, leveraging their expertise and global presence to accelerate revenue growth, enhance value creation, and help differentiate Hikma’s products. The investment mandate is broad, focusing on companies where there is a true strategic advantage for both Hikma and the portfolio companies. They aim to partner with portfolio companies, driving their success by leveraging Hikma’s expertise and reach as a global generics pharmaceutical company. Hikma Ventures takes a long-term perspective towards its portfolio companies. While they are investment stage-agnostic, they have a preference for Series A and beyond and are happy to lead or co-lead.
