Commercialisation Reactor

Commercialization Reactor (CR) is an international deep-tech and science (applied research) commercialization platform with a dedicated Venture Fund, established in Latvia in 2009 and operating internationally. The firm focuses on transforming science and innovation into successful ventures by bringing together Scientists and Researchers (SCI) with entrepreneurial-minded individuals (ENT) to co-create deep-tech startups that leverage and commercialize the core competence of the scientific team. CR acts as a venture creation program, early-stage investor, and ecosystem facilitator. CR has dedicated over 15 years to refining deep-tech startup formation, emphasizing the human factor, development stages, culture and ethics, relationships, and team dynamics. Their core offering is a comprehensive, full-cycle approach to technology commercialization, indicating involvement from initial creation to capital acquisition. CR's methodology appears centered around taking technologies that are ready for commercialization and pairing them with entrepreneurial talent. They run the "Ignition Qualifiers" program which trains entrepreneurs interested in creating and running a deep-tech startup. This program is ranked as a leading deep-tech program by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology. They provide early-stage investments and grants to their startups and operate a space incubator in Latvia (ESA BIC Latvia) to further support and accelerate the growth of their portfolio companies.
